At Studio Botanica, we take pride in crafting exquisite one of a kind furniture pieces using aged reclaimed teak (Tectona Grandis). Typically, we source our timber from scrapyards in Maharashtra. These scrapyards have stockpiled teak wood that was salvaged from buildings that were condemned and demolished. Therefore, our timber supply predominantly dates back to the years 1935-1950, and tells a rich history spanning 70-90 years that's represented in its grains – perfectly imperfect.

By sustainably sourcing and utilizing reclaimed timber, we actively contribute to the preservation of trees and minimize the harm caused during our production processes.
