The Pierre Jeanneret Office Floating Back Chair first appeared in the administrative and university buildings of Chandigarh, India, in the 1950s. The chair's inverted 'V-shape' legs and arms support a floating cane-woven backrest with a frame connected by precise finger joints. Detailed timber edging and gradual rounding of the arms and legs respect the chair's original design.

Paired with aged teak and handwoven cane detailing, the Pierre Jeanneret Office Floating Back Chair is robust and provides comfort to friends and family in a dining setting, cozy office, or artist’s studio.
